The Admonitor and the Admonitor Preference have been designed to match the challenge of state-of-the-art DXD mastered multi-channel musical recordings.
They share the same basic design characteristics ; the special resistive reflex tuning ; good sensitivity ; superbly transparent and fast midrange from hand-built drivers ; the extended listening zone, maintaining ultra-precise three-dimensional imaging ; the superior integration and balance of sound from top to bottom ; the delicacy and resolution of the treble thanks to custom made soft-dome tweeter.

The main difference between the Admonitor and the Admonitor Preference is the Preference really begins to excel in the areas where the Admonitor is already strong. The Preference has a stronger optimised "Platinum" tweeter with the special Platinum colour-liquid-metal coating as well as an ultra-linear cross-over with higher grade components. The Preference is therefore the more unforgiving, but in that measure also the more rewarding: it soars into heights of breathtaking musicality, just as it unravels deficiencies immediately.

Both Admonitor and Admonitor Preference are not power hungry or a difficult load, however they need very high quality amplification in the 25W to 100 W league. Good care is needed in setting up the loudspeakers in the listening room, to get maximum results .

By extending the low frequency reach with the Submonitor module, the systems truly becomes a reference system, with the authority of full-scale music reproduction.
